An Assessee is involve in Profession of Teaching & he is also visiting different places of India for taking Tution Classes - now his Tour & Travelling Charges are Exempted from Tax but is also his Fooding & Lodging Charges are exempted from Tax while calculating his Taxable Income

26 November 2011 Deduction will be allowed for all expenses incurred to earn the income.

So, deduction of tour, travelling, boarding/lodging and food expenses will be allowed as deduction.
