If an assessee (including senior citizen) invests in kisan vikas patra will he get any dedcution from taxable income under income tax act.

Thanks sir, can you please tell me under which section of the income tax act the income from kvp is taxable?

There is no section saying that interest is tax free. But the following link says it is taxable.
