13 March 2010 yes presenty the percenge is 2% with Form C. but without form C CST % is 4%, i think.
i need that circular.

19 March 2010 it is not fixed 4% witout form C.
it is the rate which is prevelling in appropriate state.
for e.g. if any item of which VAT rate is 12.50% in state, and the dealer is selling the same without C form, he has to charge 12.50% CSt and not 4%.
you must search the circular on tax site.
