24 September 2011 a manufacturing company is not maintaining its stock and prodution record monthly. i have been asked by the management to calculate qantitative details concerning the production, consumption and closing stock. Please tell me how initiate the solution of this situation. Also tell me what are the things included in the cost of production as i am confused about this.

25 September 2011 you need to make out the basic cost details like material required for the production, what is the material consumed as on date and finished product manufactured as on date. refer the cost accounting standards for complete details
