08 July 2012 topic - change on status of company effective from the date of approval of roc .and change of name is effective from date of incorporation.

can anyone provide me one practical question to understand better on above topic?

Suppose your company old name id AM Public limited as incorporated in 14 June, 2010, now in May 2012 you wanted to change the status of the company from public to private under section 21 of the Companies Act and you called General Meeting on June 28, 2012 and you file forms with ROC and it give thei approval on July 05, 2012.

In that case the status approval of your company from public to private will be from July 5, 2012 from the date on which ROC issued new CIN for your company.
