I have a doubt on whether I can convert a LLP to a Private Limited Company as per the new Companies Act, 2013.

An LLP is sought to be converted to a PLC by many a business person, to make way for foreign investments or borrowings, or to attract venture capitalists, or just to expand the business and inspire more confidence in the employees.
Such a conversion, though attracts greater tax liability is feasible as a long term decision.
