18 March 2015 Sir,
I want to form a company to transact telecom(providing telecom software support across India)consultancy services for a Canadian based Company in Mumbai as its principal place,most of the work will be done from home location.Need to visit client location as per requirements.What are the procedures for this? Can I have option to Register the said Company at Kerala ?? I also want to know that is Service Tax Registration is required for this.

18 March 2015 You can register the company at Kerala. Yes service tax registration is required as service tax is payable on your service.

19 March 2015 Thank You Sir.Is this company classified as a subsidiary of the Canadian Company ? Can I form this Company as a one person company as there is only one director? and under which ROC,the said company is to be incorporated? Please give me an earlier reply

19 March 2015 If they hold more than 50% of shares then only it will called as subsidiary of Canadian company. You can form this company as one person company. You have to register with ROC where you registered office is situated.
