confused with vat 505 & 515

our customer is sending some material from north karnataka to bangalore for repair and return whcih form he has to send whether form 505 or form 515.what is the difference between form 505 & 515

As per my knowledge, at present , VAT form 515 has been stopped and every regd. dealer under VAT in karnataka has to issue VAT 505(which he has to apply online). The basic difference between 515 and 505 is, VAT 515 can be printed by dealer himself and he has to intimate it to department before using it and VAt 505 is to be issued by department only
