In a properietorship Co, Can we give Commission on sale to proprietor's wife,

Show Journal entry Plz.

27 July 2011 Yes you can but while assessment you will have to show the nexus between such payment and service received since it is paid to your wife.

To Wife ( Name of Wife) A/c

Wife A/c Dr....
To Bank.....

(Also Deduct TDS if you are liable to deduct TDS)
