Please let me know how much charged from client for TDS return preperation? Will it excluding/including uploading fees charged by TIN FC

16 June 2011 Please refer Minimum Recommended Scale Fee issued by ICAI. According to it the minimum fee to be charged for (METRO CITIES)
B. Filing of Forms Etc.
(a) Filing of TDS/TCS Return (per Form) (Quarterly Fees)
i) With 5 or less Entries Rs.1,500/- & Above
ii) With more than 5 Entries Rs.3,750/- & Above

& (NON METRO CITIES)

B. Filing of Forms Etc.
(a) Filing of TDS/TCS Return (per Form) (Quarterly Fees)
i) With 5 or less Entries Rs.1,000/- & Above
ii) With more than 5 Entries Rs.2,500/- & Above

I am sure this doesn't includes uploading fee charged by TIN FC

17 June 2011 If you are getting it from Chartered Accountants then the above is the fee fixed by the Institute of Chartered Accountamts of India. You can get the same done from return preparers and negotiate the fees. The limit is where you settle but it is not granted that the same shall be true and correct and hence get it done from C. A. and pay the prescribed fee as suggested by Sushil Kumar and Krihna Neeraj.
