Charge of service tax

I am registered since last 5 years for service tax as service provider as my turnover was more than 10 lakhs but now my turnover is less than 10 lakhs, does it is compulsory to charge service tax on invoices?

it depends on your turnover of praceding FY..since it exceeded 10 lakhs in last FY,you are liable to charge ST..next year u will be exempted from it

if your turn over below 9 lakhs then you can surrender service tax number. this will solve all your problem .
