change of accounting method

please can anyone help me, I am maintaining my accounts in sigle entry system now can i change to double entry system, the income tax dept. weather will permit or not ple reply soon

it is permitted. In case if your booked of accounts needs to get audited in that case you have to draw the statement showing the deviation due to this change as per tax audit report.
