Dear Sir,
I received intimation U/s 143(1) of the income tax act, 1961. The departmennt demand Rs.1062/-. I paid challan and select type of payment (400) Tax on Regular Assessment it is write.

Yes,All the payment after receiving a notice from the dept comes under tax on Regular Assessment.
