Cess on salary tds not deducted

29 March 2012 For the F.Y. 2010-2011 we have not deducted education cess on TDS on salary.

Now we are issuing salary certificate in this year.
Should we deposit education cess amount and file revised return and then issue form 16.

What should be done in this case?

29 March 2012 You will have to collect the EC & SHEC from the employees, deposit the same, revise the TDS return and then issue Form 16.
