Whether a company can transfer the CENVAT credit to the group companies.
where the said company has excess credit

Different companies of the same group are different entities under the Finance Act.
There is a system of transfer of credit from different branches of the same company vide the concept of input service distributor but not for different companies say A ltd and B ltd belonging to a group cannot transfer credits between them
