09 July 2015 My querry is regarding a manufacturing unit.
suppose A is a manufacturer( registerd with excise) supplies raw material goods to B who is a manufacturer ( not registerd with excise). Now B does processing on raw material and sell it to C ( registerd with excise). Can C avail the cenvat credit on the duty paid on raw material by B to A.
as C is mention as consignor in purchase of raw material from A.

if so than tell me the procedure

10 July 2015 In your issue C will purchase the inputs from A with payment of duty and after purchase input they will supply the material to B on jobwork challan and after job work goods will be returned to the C premises. This is the option for taking cenvat credit of input.
