Q1.A LTD IS A CO MANUFACURING OEM MACHINE .DURING YR IT HAD SOLD 200 SUCH MACHINES AT RS 100000 EACH .THE EXCISE DUTY LIABLITY IS RS 3LAKH .DURING THE YR IT HAD PURCHASED R.M AND CAPITAL GOODS ON WHICH DUTY PAID IS RS 200500 AND 3.5LAKH RESPECTLY.U R ASKED TO CALCULATE CENVAT CR TO BE AVAILED FOR PAYMENT OF DUTY.
Q2.BASED ON THE FOLLOWING PARTICULARS ARRIVE AT CENVAT CR AVAIBLE ON CLEARENCE OF GOODS TO DOMESTIC TARRIFF AREA FROM EOU.ASSEBLE VALUE RS 2LAKH . BASIC SUSTOM DUTY 10%.EXCISE DUTY 16%EDCESS 2% SHEC 1%,VAT APPLICABLE UNDER STATE VAT ACT 4%.
