Plz guide how to treat in income tax of cash amount received from father property on his death but father was working in UAE and also deid in UAE for last 18 yrs.
whole amunt is recieved through bank

28 October 2013 I dont think its taxable. The father was non-resident and income in uae is anyways tax free. What you have received is a remittance.
