dear sir i has not file return any year whether i can deposite cash 400000 cash in bank whether any issue..

Deposit of old cash in excess of 2.50 lacs will be enquired in to by the IT dept. If source of income is not proved Tax and penalty will be levied.

dear sir in your view what source of income should be declared.in my view whether it is declare cash gift.exempt income.
