11 April 2026 I purchased a property in 2001 for 50 Lakshs and sold it in April 2026 for 1.5 cr . Can I calculate the indexation cost for the property for the Assessment Year 2027-28 ? or I have to pay 12.5% for the difference amount ?

11 April 2026 For a property purchased in 2001 and sold in April 2026 (Assessment Year 2027-28), you have the choice between two options because the property was acquired before 23 July 2024.
