09 May 2016 HI... I am a student of CA Final and m going to appear in Nov 2016.
I just wanted to know if i can appear for the exam from anywhere in India or is it zone specific??

10 May 2016 You can select whichever center you want, there is no such restriction. Suppose, you are from Jaipur and want to write the examination from Hyderabad for your November 2016 exam, you can do so.

The zones are provided only in major cities of India, where the number of candidates are more and the city population is usually higher than smaller cities/towns. For instance Mumbai had 9 zones in May 2016 exam based on geographical location of areas in the city and one could select the same based on their convenience.
