26 October 2016 under which head cheque pending for encashment is to be shown in balance sheet

26 October 2016 U can show it under cheque in hand under current Assets (Bank).

26 October 2016 it means we have to show balance in balance sheet as per actual balance not as per our cash book and have to do adjustment in B/S of all the difference in our cash book and as per bank??

26 October 2016 all BRS adjustments are to be shown in balance sheet?

26 October 2016 Yes u must show the actual balance in ur balance sheet. U must transfer all the cheques pending to b cleared(whether payment/receipt or contra) on last date (31st march normally) to cheque in hand, and also have to tally BRS as per Bank Statements.
