Can u pls give me an example to differentiate between a holder & Holder in due course.
i read the definition.
they both seem to be same.
So pls give me an eg.

journal entry

i m the service provider and charging service tax from the clients,(my services exceed above 10. lcs)now i have to pay ser.tax.
now my query is can i adjust excise duty agnt ser.tax which has been paid on the Machine ,generator furniture which i m using while providing the services .on bill excise duty is charged .

2: ser. charges on tel/ mobile can also be adjusted ?

If i can, then pl. provide the journal entries to be pass on the above situations.

VWheather MSEDCL is laible for paying service Tax to Contractor who having Service Tax Reg. no. under Catrgory of Supply of Tangible Goods for Use Service if yes then Pl. send me notification or releted circuler so with the help of that i can prove that to MSEDCL division & there is one query that if releted to service tax liability no metioned in contract papers then who is labile for pay service Tax to ST depts.

Hi, I have cleared my Intermadiate Exam & 1st group of ca final exam. I will be appearing for my CA final 2 nd group exams in May 09. Kindly explain me what is accounting Technician Certificate. Am i eligible for that certificate, are there any exam for the above mentioned certificate.

Who is Laible for Service Tax?

Maharashtra State Elctricity Distibution Co. ltd. is liable for pay service tax to any contractor having Serivce tax Reg. no. under category of Supply Tangible Goods for Use Service, if yes then how the contractor proves it to MSEDCL & what is procudure for it?
