cst

If one purchase the goods from other state, then only cst is paid or one has to pay sale tax besides cst.
suppose, one purchaser from jharkhand purchase goods worth rs. 1000 from west Bengal having 4% sale tax on that goods, cst is 2 % as we know, then how much purchaser has to pay.
please send answer with calculation.

eligibility for HRA

Dear all,

I reside at Moradabad and receive HRA from my employer. I am going to purchase a flat for my sister in Noida which would be in my name. Will it make me disqualified for receiving HRA from my employer.
Please suggest the remedies also.
Thanks and regards

Girish

GTA Liability ?

Dear All,

Please guide me for the following query :-

"A" is a manufacturer of goods and supplies to "B" who is a customer through "C" - an agent. The Invoice raised directly by A on B.
Howver, the freight is being paid by the C (Agent)- out of his commission, and he books the freight as expenses in his books of accounts .

"A"(consignor) & "B"(consignee) are not paying freight to the transporter.
"C" who pays the freight is neither a consignor nor consignee ? In such a case, who is liable to pay Service TAx ?
