My client has started Hotel ( Restaurant along with Lodging facility in the state of U.P.).I want to know that whther,
1) VAT Tax is applicable for such Business in U.P.? and
2) as well as Lodging Charges / Luxury Tax is applicable to my clint or not?

Whether there is any change in advance payment of Fringe Benefit Tax?

ICAI had recently introduced a 3 month long residential classes for final year students costing Rs. 48000.Initially this is in NCR.

a) Do you think this will gain popularity?

b) if it gains popularity, and students apply to it in large numbers; how will ICAI manage?Will there separate entrance tests with OBC reservations?

ICAI is building its new residential college in jaipur, isn't it?

c)the icai website tells that the fee is heavily subsidised. CA course is affordable to almost all section of society till now as its cost is under 25k for 3.5 yrs minimum.. Now with this new programme which costs Rs 48000 for 3 motnhs....

Pls tell me what are the consequances of leaving the job without notice?

I did not sign any bond but i signed my appointment letter according to which i have to give 45 days notice or equivelent amount i lieu of notice.

I Know legally they can force me to pay the amount if the notice period is not served.

BUT the BIG ques is:can they make any complaint in ICAI or anything which wud be harmful for my CA Membership?

A person wants to sell the tree which had been planted by him 20 years back so that its wood can b used in wooden Industry.
