FINANCIAL PARTICULAR

This query is : Resolved

11 February 2026 I FILE ITR WITH LAST 15 YEAR. NIL RETURN. SOMETIME IN MY FINANCIAL PARTICULAR ALL ZERO BUT LAST YEAR SHOW TOTAL ASSET E25 IS 40 LAC. CASH IN HAND 15 LAC.
IS IT WORRYING FOR SUDDEN JUMP 0 TO 40 LAC.

12 February 2026 Yes, a jump from ₹0 to ₹40 lakh (including ₹15 lakh cash) can attract scrutiny, especially if income was NIL.

However, if you can clearly explain and document the source of funds, there is nothing to worry about.

The risk is not the jump — the risk is absence of explanation.
