If we have quoted wrong pan of the vendor in filing TDS return for previous F.Y. then what to do in that case ? Do we have to file revised return for that single vendor for whole last year or is there any other way s there for rectifying that mistake like by giving a letter in writing to vendor.

Project Office

Whenever foreign co set up Project Office in India, it has to register itself with RoC and obtain Certificate of Establishment. What if the same foreign co sets up another Project Office? Does foreign co has to obtain fresh Certificate of Establishment or make amendments to the existing one? Which form is to be used for this purpose? Thanks

TDS refund

Ours is a partnership firm. We have taken Loan from financeal Co. for Commercial Vehicle. We have already paid all instalment in time. As per our Chartered Accountant's Consent We have also paid TDS on interest. Now i know that TDS shound not paid on Financal Charges it is covered u/s 197.

So my question is that in the financeal year 2007-08 we have paid TDS which i want to take refund. What is procedure for this?

Billing & Invoicing

Dear Sir,
Request you to confirm the following:

We are purchasing DI fittings and will be in our stock. The purchase invoice will consist of material value + ED.

When we bill the same for selling, do we:

a) How to pass on the duty to our purchaser

b) Should the bill have the detail of material value (selling price) + Duty with individual calculation. Do we need an excise registration.

c) Incase of sales outside the state CST @ 2% with Form C

d) Incase of sales outside the state without Form C CST @ local tax or 10% whichever is higher.

e) Incase of sales to government department (irrespective of within the state or outside the state)rate of tax 4%. Form D has been abolished.

Request you to confirm / clarify the above details.

Payment of service tax

payment of service tax applicable to sub-contractor? Means all my client vehicles sent to company for hire, company charging service tax on their bills, shall we charges service tax on companies? We are not raising any bills to company, company will pay lum-sum amount to us, Kindly guide me.
