I have following queries:
1) Where can a board meeting be held ? Whether at the registered office or elsewhere as well.
2) A director may not be present in India during the whole year. What should be the practice followed in such a case vis-a- vis the board meetings.

Q.1 If employer is paying arrear salary, is he liable to provide relief u/s 89(1)
or employee should claim relief while submiting income tax return.
Q.2 Whether employer liable to deduct tds on arrears too. if yes
While deducting tds on arrears whether sec 89(1) should be taken in to account.

i have cleared pe -II in nov.2006.& also 250 hours coputer training i& i have joined my articleship on 1 aug. 2007 in ca firm. now i want to know whether i should join final in old or in new scheme because if i join old course i wil get only one attempt i.e in nov 2009 & afterward i will atomatically shift in new course. i got this information from icai's help desk i.e on phone. and now i have to make DD for registration in final course so i want to know what amount of DD should i made for new scheme & old scheme? & when will be my first attempt under new scheme?

This is case of non providing of TDS certificate by principal for financial year 2005-06. In case any company is not providing TDS certificate where we have to approach and how we may approach. If this is electronically possible please tell me.

Hi I have two separate questions :-
1.I am a CA with 2 years post qualification exp ,presently I am working in a manufacturing company for last 5 months in Internal audit dept, recently I have got a job offer from Wipro KPO, I am not sure whether it will be good decision to change job from a mainstrem industry to a KPO, plz advise
2. I am also CS Final student( one group is not cleared ), I am not able to clear Gr1 in last sitting,plz advise whether I should concentrate on CS or start some other courses like DIRM, DISA etc along with CS?
