Any individual having no taxable income, has to file its income-tax return. What is the last date of filing it. If the said return is not filled before due date, is there any penelaty or interest. Is there any compulsion of filing return for any individual having no taxable income.

Back- up in computer

What do you mean by 'Back-up' in a Computer System ? What are the benefits of doing it. If we don't back-up, what are the consequences ?

articleship time.

dear sir/madam,
recently i came to know about some change in the time period of articleship before attempting final.
i have heard that the period has been reduced to 2yrs from what it used to be 2&1/2 yrs. And some are saying that in my case it will b 2& 1/2 yrs because the new 2yrs rule is applicable only to students registered in Old Final. As i will be clearing PE2 in 2008 (either in Jan'08-for Nov'07 or in July'08-for May'08) and will be gettin regstered in the New Final.
Pls clarify.

Certification in taxation

Hello every one.. I want to know that what are the other courses are available for certification in direct taxation.. how and where to register for the same.. Whats the duration of that. And more over can a C.A student go for it.
