CPE Credit Requirements

CPE Credit Requirements for members of the Institute

* All the members who are holding Certificate of Practice (except those members who are residing abroad), unless exempted, are required to:

o Complete at least 90 CPE credit hours in each rolling three-year period of which 60 CPE credit hours should be of structured learning.
o Complete minimum 20 CPE credit hours of structured learning in each year.

My Q is : what actually is the meanng of structured learning ?

professional Tax

This is an examination question. it reads as under:-
Total professional tax paid is Rs.5000/-. out of this, Rs.4000/- is paid by employer and Rs.1000/- is paid by employee.
what will be the deduction from salary?

A. when does the admission begin for it, and is it available in ahmedabad?

exemption for MICS paper in CA final

hi, i have exemption in MICS paper. I got it in Nov 2006 attempt. Do i have the exemption in May 2008 exam also? i heard that the exemption is valid for next 3 attempts. Please clarify my doubt....

any vat is applied after Excise

Dear Sir

As per Following Example

Basic Value 100
Excise duty 16
Total 116

then any VAT is applied on the total value.

Pls. clarify this, (with ref to Sec.115W)

There are 2 companies say A & B. Let B is subsidiary of A. Now a part of exps incurred by A is apportioned to B, as it is expended for B.

While calculating FBT of both A & B, where is the apportioned FBTable exps are taxed…? I.e. in former or in latter…?
