05 February 2008 Please name the sources from where can I get the financial history of a company including Financial Statements, P/E ratios, Market Capitalisation etc. of past few years?

There are websites of individual compnaies. You may visit their websites and get the requirements like www.ril.com

www.bse india.com
and
www.sebi.gov.in
have all the financial data on listed companies.
for listed company info on finance etc..you may also visit www. sify. com and www.rediff.com and www. money control .com
for any unlisted company data pl. visit
www.mca.gov.in
nowadays the ROC ELECTRONICALLY STORES ALL FIN. AND HISTORICAL DATA OF ALL COMPANIES WHICH YOU MAY FIND ON www.mca.gov.in
sometimes google search bar can also be of help.
you may also go to the company website.
but except listed companies that too big and reputed ones , other companies dont maintain an official website for want of cost .
