i have one query relating to RBI compliance for foreign remittance.
My Client, who is a Person of Indian Origin, is now resident person. She is investing in Equity Shares in a PVT LTD CO. engaged in Export business by remitted money from foreign country through AD Channel.
Now we have following query
1-whether the Company has to intimate RBI within 30 days through FIRC intimation.
2- Whether the Company has to file Form FC-GPR.
As per FEMA Act the above compliance is needed when foreign remittance is done by non-resident. As per my case Investor is Resident however she has brought investment through foreign investment channel.
plz clarify my query as soon as possible.

One of my clients is a HUF proprietory concern. The elder karta expired before few days. In one bank the account (co-operative) the name of new Karta was taken on records without any hitch and he is able to operate the HUF account. But in one other bank (private sector),the (HUF) proprietory concern has bank loan. The bank is not ready to change the name that smoothly and asking to execute all new documents for the loan. HUF is undying entity and only karta changes. How can I convince the bank that no execution of new documents is necessary. Please note that the documents are not registered with any government authority as it is not necessary.

I have just passed in PEE II Exam , held in May 2008.
I was initially registered for Intermediate Course from Kanpur branch. later i took transfer to Kolkata. I had paid all fees at that time, as was applicable. I had completed my articleship in 2004. In 2005, i had changed my Local as well as permanent addresses from Kolkata to Ranchi again, as it was earlier.

My queries are ..

1. Am i eligible to apper in Nov. 2008 final Exam.?
2. How much amount i have to pay for Final registration.?
3. Can i opt for Final ( Old ) Course.?
4. From which office i will be entertained, Kanpur or Kolkata.? where should i apply for Final registration.?

sir i am very much upset about my status and enquired from lots of places but coudn't satisfied.
please advise me at your earliest so that i can appear for Nov. 2008 exam.

Sir,
the fixed asset is imported in December 2007 and is capitalised at the exchange rate prevailing on the date of bill of entry. The purchase consideration is payable only after 180 days. when the balance sheet is prepared, the current liabilities and the fixed assets have been shown at the rate as on 31.03.08 and the difference is adjusted to Fixed assets and taken to P&L account. Depreciation also adjusted accordingly. Is this entry correct?
