is it compulsory for partnership to get its book audited whether the turnover is below of 1 crore???

Preference dividend

IS it possible to pay excess dividend in the case of redeemable preference shares.

Example :

can 20% dividend be declared on the "10% redeemable preference shares.

Short deduction of tds u/s200a

Sir

we have got notice for short deduction of tds u/s200A.One of our client(PR) have given us certificate for lower deduction Limit specified 200000/- but by mistake we have made payment 206000/- during the year to client for which we got notice for short deduction.

in above case can we revise the return & recover it from client or we just pay the amt & give reply to Income tax payment made ?
