Dear Sir,

I applied for a name of a company by filing FORM 1A & the same got approved. In a day's time I have received a notice stating as below :

"Name is not in consonance with the main object.

You are required to reply as to why the name should not be withdrawn.

Please take notice that if no reply is received within 15 days from the date of issue of this notice, the
aforesaid name shall be withdrawn without further notice."

Please suggest as to how the reply should be filed ???????

Suraj

Dear Sir / Madam,

My query is as follows:

Mr. A and Mrs. A are co-owners as well as joint borrowers in their housing loan.

At the month end, Mrs A transfers her share of home loan instalments to Mr. A from whose bank account the installment gets debited.

Here I wish to know: from Bank records, it shows that Mr. A is only paying the entire home loan instalment since his bank account is getting debited, he can certainly claim principal and interest rebate under Income Tax Act. But since Mrs. A does not pay directly, whether can she claim her share of interest and home loan principal???

If not right now, in future what kind of arrangements she needs to make to claim her portion under income tax act.

Kindly revert.
Regards
Suraj

Filing returns for huf

Sirs,
Assessee has HUF pan no and bank account since 2007 but he has never filed returns till date as he has only agricultu ral income and gift income from HUF members only.( He also has ancestral immovable property). But the HUF has been using the above income in trading in the share market and the profits/income has been much below the exemption limit/slab always.
However, now the assesse wants to file belated returns for his HUF for 2011-12 and 2012-13 as the income is above the exemption limit. My question is

FROM HOW MANY YEARS BACK SHOULD HE ASK HIS TAX CONSULATANT TO PREPARE HIS BALANCE SHEET TO BE ON THE COMPLETELY SAFER SIDE TO AVOID ANY TYPE OF TAX COMPLICATIONS?

KINDLY ADVICE
THANKS
