Indirect Tax Book

I am preparing for CA final gr II. I am having attempt in Nov 2009. Can anyone suggest reference books for Indirect Tax old syllabus? Please provide 2 or 3 books for reference?

Currently I am working with an MNC & I have yet to clear me CA fina; secong Group papers which I paln to give this Nov 09. Kindly advice me whether I should quit the job & only concentrate on studies or i should study & work parallelly.

iam a ca final student, and am doing cs also. i would like to pursue one more course,for which i need permission from the ICAI, can u tell whether they would grant permission for the third course, is there any provision for such...please reply soon..

query on verification result

sir
can you tell me by which date the result of verification will be declared
bCoz the next attemt is also 2 months far
so if ICAI will take time as always than the recheking will be worthless !

Registration for Final

I completed my CA(PCC) this june 2009.
Got my results this on Sept 1st..When can i register for final?Can i immediately apply or should i wait for my certificate and then apply?

transfer during articleship

i have completed my article ship of 6 months after pe 2 exam. i want to take transfer within 50 km. in the city. pls tell me whether it is possible for me? whats the rule?
