My final is due in nov 09, but due to some reasons i will not be able to appear in nov 09 so i am thinking to appear in may 10. But i am not sure whether i should convert into new syllabus or should i continue in the old syllabus.
I also heard that nov 09 is the last batch for old syllabus, what should i do.

I am a Final year student.I have started my articleship on 09/03/07.I am appearing for my C A Final in June 09.I have taken total leave from 09/03/07 till 22/01/09 is 54.I went on study leave from 23/01/09.I will not be paid any stipend for the 4 months.
My query is whether study leave taken by me will be counted in 138 days as allowed by ICAI - Old Course or not even if i am not paid any stipend during the period?Normally ICAI provides 2 months leave for exams.If i have taken more than 2 months can i adjust the excess months from 138 leaves or not?
What does ICAI rules say abt the study leave for which no stipend is paid for the period.?If my C A wants to adjust the study leave by telling me to work for extra months should i demand stipend for the period?

Hello to all
I just came here only let u all meet CA's in other parts of world. I m an articleship student & i m regularly to my articleship training. But the main problem faced by many articles today is that they dont get enough time to study & get passed in 1st attempt of any CA exam just b coz of this articleships training as u all may b familiar with the problems given by principle to agent like
1.No time management i.e as agent comes at time he principle should leave him at time .
2.Calling on sundys also even if no work is there or say just calling to do work as it is not compulsion as only 35 hrs in week given to work are sufficient.
3.The problems faced due to employess in office but principle never takes agent sides as agent is not trained well & employees have experience.
4.Due to this students go into work so much that they dont ecen remember what study they have done.
Now u can guess this problem is so serious & is the only main reason why people gets failed
Can we complain about the same to any forum, Act, Institute but not mentoaning the name of CA?
If yes & most if u have humanity & want INDIA to give more bright shining CA stars then do come forward.

IF I DEPOSIT RS 20,000 TO ANYOF MY RELATIVES BANK A/C, HOW MANY OF THIS AMOUNT IS TAXABLE..........?

SUPPOSE IF I DEPOSIT 15,000 & 10,000 ON SAME DAY BUT IN DIFFERENT TIME, IN THAT CASE ALSO THIS AMOUNT IS TAXABLE?? (AS TOTAL AMOUNT IS EXCEEDING RS 20,000 PER DAY)???????????????

Hi all...had a query..hope u can help me out.

Say a construction company XYZ has 2 project sites called A & B. C is the head office. A supplier say RAM supplies materials to both sites & some to head office. He is paid money by head office : 2.00 lac for Site A , 3.00 for site B, 1.00 for C.

I wud like to know the amount given to RAM in acocunt of diff. sites. & likewise for other suppliers . Suppose if i open ledger for SITE A ..i shud c suppliers RAM, SHYAM ..etc and theier amounts respectively . I require the procedure of grouping into groups/ledger and way of accounting. I hope my query is clear

2. IN CASE OF 23AC ,2.5MB SHOULD BE THE FILE SIZE. WHT ABT IN CASE OF 20B??? IS THERE ANY RESTRICTION WITH RESPECT TO FILE SIZE?????
