i joined ray n ray in Delhi for article-ship...n i am not able to understand the working environment of that firm...computers are not provided to articles not even in office n not even at client site...everything is on manual basis....although they have good n big statutory n internal audits...n other thing is that they don't have taxation work..except tax audits.....god am confused wat shuld i do..should i leave this...or stay.......plzzz experts help me.....

Following is my calculation of articles served and leaves taken. Request you to guide me if I have any extension:

Period 2 April 2007 to 12 February 2010 (Small size firm)
Days served (A) = 1047 days
Leaves taken (B) = 260 days
Period on duty (A-B) = 787 days
Leave entitled = 787/6 = 131 days
Excess leave taken = 131-260 = 129 days

Period 15 February 2010 to 14 February 2011 (Industrial Training at a Big4)

Days served (A) = 365 days
Leaves taken (B) = 35 days
Period on duty (A-B) = 330 days
Leave entitled = 330/6 = 55 days
Excess leave taken = NIL

I being a 3 1/2 years article, my articles started from 2 April 2007 and were supposed to end on 1 October 2010 and allowed a leave of 184 days. However, due to excess leave taken of 129 days at the small size firm, I served the Big4 for an additional of 136 days ie from 2 October 2010 to 14 February 2011 (some extra period served just to avoid extension due to rounding off of calculations)

But now I have received a letter from ICAI saying that I have an extension of 111 days. However, according to the above calculation, I find some error in the calculation done by ICAI.

Request you to kindly check the calculations and guide.

i have cleared my cs final exam in june 2011. my training is pending. is this training mandatory even i don't want to do practice as a CS.I have cleared my CA in MAY 2011.

Further i want to know formalities to be completed for registration as a LCS.

i just want to know, whether ICAI is going 2 provide extra 15 min as readin time in nov11 examination or not??.. earlier some one posted on CCI that 15 min will b available for nov11 but still no official annocement!!

i think its n imp ques for all student so plzz do resolve this

I am a working person want to pursue CA i have already cleared CPT and registered into IPCC i want to give MAY 2012 attempt of IPCC Grp I. due to time constraint i cant take regular coaching so i can only take coaching on weekends and evening after 5 PM batches
please provide me with the Coaching info or an alternate way to pursue my caoching with my JOB.
