17 September 2011 i joined ray n ray in Delhi for article-ship...n i am not able to understand the working environment of that firm...computers are not provided to articles not even in office n not even at client site...everything is on manual basis....although they have good n big statutory n internal audits...n other thing is that they don't have taxation work..except tax audits.....god am confused wat shuld i do..should i leave this...or stay.......plzzz experts help me.....

18 September 2011 Hi jyoti,
First of all let me tell you one thing that articleship is generally full of hardship for any CA student normally. however, there are some cases where student gets dummy or best articleship about leave, work n all but whether they learn well or not it depends upon them(Student) only. so its like two sided coin that has one bad and one good side.
So, my advise is that if u can adjust then u may go to continue and otherwise u may leave BEFORE COMPLETION OF 1 YEAR OF ARTICLESHIP. because as per new rule ICAI permits first transfer valid without reason in 1st year of training. So if u want to leave, please leave before you complete one year there & if u decide to stay, and if one year passes away, you need to stay there for full period Except in jenuine case.
