Hi! I need some help in foreign exchange risk management. The sum is as follows:
X ltd, an Indian company has bought goods worth 100 lacs & has to make payment in exporter's home currency. The following rates are available:
INR = $ 0.025 - $0.02
= $1.40 - $ 1.48
= 0.0069 - 0.0049
You are required to calculate the INR cost of the deal today.
I am getting the answer as Rs 48,30,000 however the answer given is Rs 51,06,000 which I feel is wrong. Please confirm which of the answers is right. Also if i'm wrong then plz explain why.

hi to everyone this is durga prasad. i am IPCC student,in old firm also it was wrongly dated as three and half years... recently i took articleship in new firm, but the ICAI wrongly taken as pcc student it means my articles period is become 3 and half years. i have spoken to institute but no use and i sent letter it hasn't been modified........................

what should i do?

what is the provision of transfer of articleship training?

Dear sir/maam,
I would b probably qualifying IPCC (both) I appeared in may'12. I am pursuing my b.com 3rd year(regular) from Kanpur university and I want to pursue articleship from big 4s. Is there any solution to this as I will have to provide declaration to the institute for the other courses I am pursuing. When should i apply in big 4s i.e. right after clearing IPCC or after completing b.com. final from kanpur? Please suggest other better alternatives, if any. (there is no issue of attendance in my college).

Please help, thanx in advance. I started my articleship from 18-10-2011 and after serving for 2 month and 5 day i get termination 0n 23-1-2012. Now i again get registered from 29-06-2012. can you please tell me when will be mine ca-final attempt get due. whether in may 2014 or nov 2014.
