Does it worth for me doing ICWAI course, I have completed my B.E (Information Technology) and currently working as a ERP (oracle JD Edwards) Technical Consultant, in my technology there are modules like Finance,audit, manufacturing,cost etc....but i cant understand the process or flow of it because i m from IT background and just write code for it.....there are people called functional consultant in our field who has the knowledge of the flow. i to wnt to undestand the process so should i go for it (ICWAI course). I want to become a functional consultant tats why i wanted to do ICWAI course (part time) without leaving my current job......i know its not easy to pass , people take 3-4 yrs to pass this exam......then to i will try hard.

So should i go for it.

if one goes for ATC after geeting into finals and then sometime after he still wants to continue with ca, can he surrender the ATC and continue??

I am a student of IPCC.
I have registered for both groups for may 2013 examination but I wont be able to give the exams as i haven't been well since a few weeks and havent been able to prepare very well.
Will it be considered as failing as per ICAI? Do i have to inform anybody of the same? will it have any bad effect in future?

I've took a transfer from my previous employer on 11th of Feb'13 (date of expiry of my 1 yr's training: 14th of Feb'13). But due to serious family issues i could not take a new registration till 13th April'13. Also the transfer form could not be sent then. Now I'm suggested to clarify the situation and know the penalties if any in this case. As far as i'm getting it, i shud send the transfer form alongwith my new registration accompanying an application. Kindly guide me.....

I have my attempt in May 2014. I am doing my articleship from a big 4. I want to score a rank in Ca final. I have only 2 hours available for study in weekdays due to hectic articleship. I can strech upto 8 hours on weekends. Please tell me how should start approaching my studies to get a rank in CA final?

I will get leaves in the month of December 2013.
Please help me on this.

On 1st April I have joined my articleship, but i was unaware that while submitting form 102 and form 103 we need to attached Stamp Paper. so i bought stamp paper dated 17th April, however i asked the person at ICAI about the date of commencement of Training, he said it is fine your Articleship period will start from 1st April as date of stamp paper is valid till a month.
So i just want to know in Both cases Whether my Articleship will start from 1st April or 17 April, am I eligible for Nov-2015 exam i.e. 2.5 years of completion of Articleship. Also do mention the last date to Join Articleship for eligibility of Nov-2015 Exam.

I am a student of ICSI(Professional Programme).
I wish to know about the salary packages offered a fresher Company Secretary.
I know it depends on the candidate and his skills etc. but I shall be very grateful to you if you provide me with an estimated figure.
Actually there is very limited information available for CS students regarding average,minimum and maximum salary as in CA.
Request you to answer my these three queries:-
1.What is the maximum salary offered till date to a fresher meritorious(rank holder) CS without any other degree like CA or LLB?(in metro cities)
2.What is the stipend for 15 months training in Bangalore?
3.What is more beneficial? to do training under a COMPANY or a FIRM OF PRACTICING COMPANY SECRETARIES?
