25 April 2013 Hello sir,
I am a student of ICSI(Professional Programme).
I wish to know about the salary packages offered a fresher Company Secretary.
I know it depends on the candidate and his skills etc. but I shall be very grateful to you if you provide me with an estimated figure.
Actually there is very limited information available for CS students regarding average,minimum and maximum salary as in CA.
Request you to answer my these three queries:-
1.What is the maximum salary offered till date to a fresher meritorious(rank holder) CS without any other degree like CA or LLB?(in metro cities)
2.What is the stipend for 15 months training in Bangalore?
3.What is more beneficial? to do training under a COMPANY or a FIRM OF PRACTICING COMPANY SECRETARIES?

30 April 2013 Point-1: No clue

Point -2: I am sure in a good company in Bangalore you will easily get a stipend of Rs. 10000 to 15000 with a good work profile.

Point -3: Training is totally dependent on your future vision. if u r interested in practice then you should join some CS firm for training.

On the other hand if you are interested in employment then u should join some good company to understand the working environment of corporates.

As a fresher with good knowledge backed by good training, you will get around Rs. 25000 to 35000 pm.
