There are two company A & B. B is a sister company of A and B is not having its Bank account. It is newly establish. While generating sale B providing service tax details of A only. now while making service tax payment due B is not having its bank account we paid service tax of B from A's Account now i want to passed JV in both the company to adjust service tax.

Kindly guide me to pass the entry .

If the Invoice is raised in the month of May for services provided in the month of June, what would be the applicable rate of Service Tax?

Would be old rate of 12.36% be applicable as the Invoice has been raised in May or would the new service tax rate of 14% be applicable as the services have been provided in June.

Our company has deposited the service tax in other service code. Meaning thereby while payment of service tax, it should be deposited in Erection commission and installation service but it has been deposited in Maintenance or repair service.

please suggest how it may be rectified. and if not rectified then any problem there?

In legal case service provider is individual / firm of advocate & service receiver is ltd / pvt ltd company so in that case service receiver is paying 100% liability on that service.

So my question is that can service receiver take the benefit of cenvat credit or not ?
