I had taken a sip(equity fund) of axis bank ltd in Jan -2011 for rs.2000/- per month and i am regular seeing that sip from jan-2011 till today has not plus as profit amount. this is going on regular minus. my a/c. current status is 1474 units. of rs.16000/- as 14774/- so kindly suggest me that should i continue my sip installment or not.....

And what is calculation of nav with example..........

Suppose A and B having shares in joint holding, A BEing the 1st holder. Shares are dematerialised in their joint account and dividend gets credited in Joint bank A/c in which B is 1st holder and the Bank A/c is shown in B IT file. Till the date of dematerialisation shares were shown in the IT file of A... Tell me now how to treat this dividend and in which holder's file???

Hello, my papa had invested in shares of ANDHRA PETROCHEMICALS LTD and SOUTHERN IRON & STEEL COMPANY LIMITED. He also invested in debentures of MANGALORE REFINERY & PETROCHEMICALS LTD. All these investments were made in 90s. These securities are in physical form right now. My question is that what is the procedure for receiving unclaimed dividend and interest. And please advice, how my papa can my papa sale these securities.

I want to know whether security tansaction tax is allowable or not while computing income tax.
Also I want to know we had paid advance tax for the year 10-11 into SBI A/c in paper challan.But as per NSDL website it is not appearing. What is the reason for that.Please let me know how to rectify the same.
