How to claim old shares and debentures.

Hello, my papa had invested in shares of ANDHRA PETROCHEMICALS LTD and SOUTHERN IRON & STEEL COMPANY LIMITED. He also invested in debentures of MANGALORE REFINERY & PETROCHEMICALS LTD. All these investments were made in 90s. These securities are in physical form right now. My question is that what is the procedure for receiving unclaimed dividend and interest. And please advice, how my papa can my papa sale these securities.

You can open a demat account and a trading account in name of your father and get these physical certificates converted in demat.
Once they are converted you can sell them on exchange.
