27 September 2011 Please tell the name of the company,issuing the first time both convertible and non convertible debenture............?????

Reliance petroleum Ltd. has issued the both convertible and non convertible debenture in 1993.Whts the reason behind this..........???

09 October 2011 Now a days the companies are interest in raising the funds through the equity as the cost is Zero. for denture interest is to be paid and hence in my opinion recently no company has both type of debntures
