CMA Kalyan

Hi
I am considering 2 opportunities for developing my stock trading.
1. starting a firm
2. starting a company
I would like to know about the consequences of Incometax for both the situation.
In general for an average holding of Rs.5 lac, which one of the above option is better.
And one more question In Incomtax, how deparment will measure a firm or companies trading? on turnover ?
Its difficult right?

Trading of future & options

My query is regarding the accounting treatment of future shares. the assessee is karta in huf and carring on purchase and sale of share and showing it as a business income and claiming rebate u/s 88E. I m intra day sale purchase in NSE/BSE as speculation. and taking other sale and purchase in trading account( NSE/BSE). I want to know how to deal with the purchae and sale of future shares. what treatment should be followed. whether i should show all the sale and purchase in trading account? or should i only take the net profit or loss. the assessee is not having any closing stock of future share. what treatment should be done for the intial margins created which are reversed at the sale of future shares.

shares rate

dear sir,

i want to know which things make effect on the rate of Shares.

i mean to say how shares rate go up and down.

thanks

mohit arora

sir, i have 1000 shares of satyam computers @rs 500 means total delivery in my account is rs 5 lacs. if i sold 1000 shares at higher rate say 520 and then recover at 500 then total sales in my account is 520000. if same entry repeated means sold at higher rate and recover at low prices then after repeating 8 times my total sales exceeds 40 lacs but my intial totol investments only 5lacs. i have only repeated the entry . whether i falls under sec 44AB for tax audit or not YES MEANS REPURCHASE. sold 1000 shares at higher price and repurchase the same at lower price .

STT applicablitiy

STT as per the recent budget is allowed only as a expenditure.
how to show STT as a deduction by a investor?
As a deduction from STCG (income) or it can't be shown at all?
