I am looking for articleship in mumbai...so where should i join whether in big 4 or in mid size?? there is a one ca firm(partnership) near by my locality n 2-3 article assistants worked over there..is it good if I do articleship from there???

I am Semi Qualified CA with one grpup of CA final cleared and other appeared in may 2011, my articleship is complete.

Mean while I hv cleared all modules of the CS final.
I am in fix wether to work in a capacity of Semi qualified CA or do training of 15 months of CS with a company or PCS.

Please guide enlighten people.

Hello everyone...

I am an IPCC student and have appeared for the exam few days back in May 2011. I have given my best in all subjects but still cant predict the result as we all are aware of ICAI valuation.

I am doing Bcom and from June 15 onwards my last (6th) semester exams will commence and results may be out by August.

I am also planning for MBA course. (if Possible)

So now my question is, as my CA results will be out by August but the last date for admission for MBA is 31th July and moreover classes for MBA will commence from August 1st week.

So please help me in my further studies as if i wait for my CA results and if i wont clear then i cant get admission for MBA as by that date admissions will be closed and classed will be started and my whole 1 year will be wasted. And suppose if i register myself with MBA course by making payment of fees (non-refundable) and i cleared in my CA exams as well, will ICAI permit me to do MBA (full time) along with my articliship.

Please help me to come out of this delima..

my name is drishti and this june i'll be a b.com graduate.i have done my b.com from H.M.V college ,Jalandhar. i am doing cs n will be giving 1st group inter xams dis june.As in today's competetive world only c.s is not enough so i wanted to ask wt should i do along with cs.i am a bit confused.some are saying dat i should do L.L.B n some r of d opinion dat in d coming time c.s with MBA finance will fetch u really good job opportunities as i'll b having knowledge of marketing,stock market n managing finance as well.but doing MBA regular will leave me wid a very little time 4 c.s so is doing MBA in correspondence is good enough?n if i should choose LLB den also doing it in correspondence will b ok or not?i hope u hv understood my confusion and hope ur advice will show me d right path.waiting for a soon reply.thanks.

I am working in SEZ unit. Our unit is going to configure the SD module. In the configuration we need to configure the following sales types:
1) SEZ to SEZ Sales
2) SEZ to Domestic Tariff Area
3) SEZ to Export
4) SEZ to EOU
5) SEZ to third party Export
6) SEZ to warehouse
7) Scrap Sales
I need help with regard to Invoice pattern i.e what pricing elements should be shown in the invoice from SEZ Unit to the above sales types.

Respected sir,i am pursuing icwa and going to appear into my inter group-2 exam,sir i want to ask you that since i have completed my inter group-1 exam in 2 attempts,will i have to face any problem in future in getting a good job...if i could not able to complete icwa in 1st attempt(in 1 go) then will i face any problem in future regarding job??...since i am an average student its quite difficult for me to complete the whole course in 1 attempt...help me out..

i want to know about CFA.. what are its future prospects with ca? what is the duration of course? please provide the detail regarding procedures etc..
