We have Imported one shipment from Singapore. Seller has sent us India Singapore Free Trade agreement certificate of origin.

While filling the bill of entry we have availed wrongly ASEAN free trade notification with custom duty @ 3% but in India Singapore Free Trade Agreement the custom duty is nil on that product.

WE have made two Imports in this manner one is 4 months ago & another 8 months ago.

Please advise how we can get refund of extra custom & other duties paid on those goods.

My uncle is going to USA and he will come back to INDIA after staying there for approx 45 days. Now my question is what is the maximum amount valued goods will be exempt from custom duty and other than this exemption limit whether he can bring with us a mobile phone or not ?????? also there is one laptop is exempt other than the original one ???? if cell is being used in USA after buying Will this also exempt or not ..??? if possible then please provide me the list of benefits . thank you

One of my client is going to import machinery from Italy. On which he is liable to pay import duty. But he is not ready for the payment instead he is asking for exemption of the same against making export of it's product which falls under food industry.

What is the process of import order/documentation for customs/for bank & for collection.

Recently, we got the DGFT status holder recognition of Export House. It is valid upto 31.03.2014

My question:
1. What is the procedure to renew this EH status? Needless to say, export obligation is not a constraint.
2. Is there a specific deadline or time period before which the application must be submitted?
3. Where can I find it in the HBP / FTP 2009-14... please provide the URL link, if known / available.
