If a person takes the HRA from the com but not submitted the rent agreement, then the entire HRA is taxable. But at the time of filing the return, can he take the deduction by showing the amount of Rent he has paid to his landlord?
In this case, the amount taxable under the head salary will be different than what is shown in Form 16. Is it acceptable?

x is the owner of the land and she has given power of attorney to her husband for raising loan for construction of house on the said land. During repayment period husband claimed interest on loan against his income. After loan is fully repaid the property was let out. My query is in whose hands income from house property will be taxed?

my Client is having contract of suppling electricity from DG set and principal is deducting TDS @ 10% is this correct as i had not given DG Set on hire. kindly reply with authentic rule and section.

One business concern normally takes Car on hiring basis. So TDS should be deducted as payment to contractor or payment for rent of use plant & machinery.
if any return is filled after the due date of filling,what will be the date from which interest be paid on the refund Amount.

Sir, one of my client has two house property one at nasik & onother at mumbai and pay EMI for both the property .And he stay with his mother's house ansd pay rent to his mother, His mumbai houe property is letout. now my Ques. is
1) He wants to claim HRA benifit because he is stay with his mother. Shall he get ?
2) He also wants to claim Hpusing loan Interest & Principal of his Nasik property (because he is working in mumbai ans hpuse property at nasik is to far from working place) shall he get claim ?
3) He also wants to claim his let out property of mumbai (ha pays loan amount as well as interest to bank and he also collect rent from customer. shall he get the benifit (eg. collect rent Rs. 120000/- p.a. and pay EMI Rs. 300000/- p.a.)?
in all three cases a big amount is involved. pl clarify the query with income tax Act. as wll as rules. and also with a caselaw if any.
