A company has overvalued its inventories due to some clerical mistake,,,at the time of finalization of accounts that diff in actual nd overvalued fig was transferred to the CWIP just to hide the same...and tally the balances by hook or crook....so i just want to ask that what appropriate adjustment entry should be passed so that overvalued amount can be written off as it does not exists any where in actual...if it is not adjusted in this year it will be carried forward in CWIP itself for years and never going to be converted in the fixed assets......
Friends, i met with a problem where,my client is working in the pvt co. and was getting salary of Rs.35000 in hand.he said that company is deducting the TDS on it but simultaneously they are saying that ur salary was fixed irrespective of the fact whether we are deducting a TDS or not....we are paying u what is agreed.
I want to confirm whether my friend can ask for form 16 from the company or not...it might be possible that they are showing gross amt in their books...please suggest if clients wants to take credit of the same in computing his own tax liability...
